My biggest incentive for natural remedies is that a lot of medicines make me more ill than the thing I had in the first place.

So far, I haven't found anything better than this for coughs: http://www.naturade.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=57&products_id=84

Hey Mr. Cal,
I never knew what greeh was when you and Jack would refer to that once in awhile. Um... did you check the vacuum cartridge? I don't know what they call it over there where you live since it can vary regionally but the dirt collector part. When our house gets ants my mom likes to take the vacuum out, vacuum up a trail of them that are in the house, and put tape over the hose. smiley - antsmiley - antsmiley - ant.
There are so many right when it switches from being cold to warm again... or the rainy season goes underway. I'm just glad we don't live where there are army ants. It turns out they make a nest out of themselves with guards that poke their heads out and the whole nasty mess they call it a bivouac I found out.smiley - yikes

we've been lucky not to have many insects inside the house... we had a problem with smiley - spiders so I bought some sort of sonic critter repellers and plugged them into various areas of the house. Other than the occasional, and aparently deaf wayward smiley - spider we've been bug-free...

Is it still the strep? That should only be a week, at the most ten days. If you still feel that bad, get to a doctor.

I had another appointment today.. the strep is gone but the cough is keeping my throat raw.. they changed me to a syrup with guaifenisin and codeine... even if it doesn't stop the cough I'll likely not care too much.. smiley - winkeye
