h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I've been doing that for a while now, about a year to be exact. This place used to be fun but it's not anymore, I'm not leaving altogether I'm just not going to be around as much as I was, I'm not going to write for the Post or the EG anymore. I'm just going to chat in a few convos with a few friends and that's it. I used to love this place but now I feel so sad that it's come to this. I feel so out of place now h2g2 is being ruled by an iron fist

What can I say? You do what you feel you must do. As have a number of others over this past 6 months or so.

ah the good old days when you could get lost in h2g2 and not surfice for hours
now your on ten mintes you've cleared the backlog talked to the interesting people and theres nothing left to do....


this might sound weird but when i was a newbie i kinda respected you as an older resercher...
even if all i knew you as was scarlet the spy

I'm starting to get that way myself... if it wasn't for the Atelier I'd probably have given up a while ago.

I've been popping in and out for a while now...all the fun convo's have died, all the old friends have passed on, I know how you feel.

Miss you, Reef- I respected you as an older researcher when I was coming through, too. And I do know what you mean- I could have gotten lost on here for hours before. It's a little different because of grad school, but not entirely because of grad school.

And you'd better send me the conclusion of your story if you're not going to write for the Post anymore!

You are right though - this place has changed.

I will miss blasting alien scum in Stargate and then getting disciplined by the colonel. I have also cut back a hell of a lot simply because I say to myself when I come home "why bother?". Pretty much wasn't online for all of two months. Currently I'm re reading all the Pratchett I have and devouring bowels of fruit salad... its a happy existence.

Anyway, as my father says, see you in a bit.
