Just a quick note for those of you unfamiliar with North Carolina. Charlotte is inland so Isabelle had no real affect other than a bit of rain, some wind to chase the 
in' mosquitos away at last 
and an influx of uh.. 
"tourists" from the coast.

Batty, I'm so glad you didn't get much from Isabel - this was a rather nasty storm, even if it moved through quickly.
I supsect that there are some people who have left hootoo because they've gotten something called "real lives".

Hi Smudger! Shamefully enough I must admit that I've been letting RL (PC mainly) get in the way of my hootooing. 
I do think we came out unscathed. Since we haven't heard from our property manager who handles out condo in Wilmington I'm assuming it made it through as well.
