I'll not suggest anything but some four or five years ago I visited my local hospital for three days in a row with pain and fever. the third day I let myself fall over the reception desk. when I'd been on the floor for about five minutes a local
found I had a ruptured appendicitis
did you try fainting?

I have always been puzzled by the overabundance of aural puns on this website. After all, this is typed, not spoken...
I have finally figured it out!
85% of hootooers subvocalise when reading....
(The other 15% of us have to reread the posts.)

No shouting-at-doctors today, I only just got back from Uni
And Dmitri, I just hear the words in my head

No shouting at docs? That is the point where I am beginning to be worried about you Maybe you ought to see a doctor or something.
The cynic in me just needs to ask you, though... You are not a Privatpatient, are you? I am in the rather unfortunate position of being one currently (having to go and send the bills to my private insurance company and the state-run Beihilfestelle in the hopes of them processing them quickly and sending me the money asap, and then trying not to fall for the temptation of using THAT money to pay other bills and letting the doctors wait until next payday... grrr it sucks, and not in a good way - but I digress). So, being in the position of a Privatpatient, I can testify this much: I never seem to have trouble getting appointments for specialists these days. And they seem quite keen on trying to be nice to me

A likely story......you all move your lips when you read.
(But you do it in more than one language...)
