h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Okay Jodan (and whoever else here who might theoretically be interested):

There's now some *basic* material at A1355195 - Hitchhiking Your Way into the Edited Guide. As much as possible, I'm trying to collate existing resources rather than duplicating them. Still, though, I realize what I have thus far is pretty sparse -- what do you think still needs doing?

How to remove an entry from Peer Review! Hallelujah!

I never knew that was there, for a start...

I reckon it could use a more clear, stated purpose in the introduction.

How are you going to direct those who really need to see these entries to that page? Or will this just be the standard entry you reference in response to unacceptable entries submitted for peer review?

Since part of the idea is to get things out of peer review that really shouldn't be there to begin with, or keep unacceptable entries out of peer review altogether, I'd have put that drop down box closer to the top of the page, since all too often the type of people who write truly unacceptable entries have such short attention spans that they may not even make it to the bottom of the page. (Hey, they didn't bother to read or at least make an effort to understand the writing guidelines, or they wouldn't have written such a poor entry to begin with!)

Not sure yet. Scouts and ACEs might be willing to help us though
