WTF has happened to Stephen Fry? He's been and got himself a celibrity haircut and put on a numerous amount of weight, neither of which, IMHO, suit him well

That sort of thing happens to the best of us when we cross into middle age.

I didn't happen to me

It did to me (except for the bad "celebrity haircut")....

I did put on some weight a few years ago, but I think that was more because I had a six month period of inactivity after a six month period of working 60 hours a week, and also perhaps because of the refried beans and chicken wrapped in flour tortillas I made for my lunch each when I began working again

I've since lost most of the weight I gained, but I'm about 10 - 15lbs heavier than I'd like to be.

Doc Martens should make boots. Nothing else. And they should be either black or oxblood. Doc Martens sandals is just... wrong

The brown boots at the bottom of the page aren't bad... not a bad price for Doc's either if I remember correctly (they're normally pretty pricey, aren't they?).

But yes, Doc Marten sandals is just wrong. In the same way that Oscar Meyer filet mignon would be wrong.

The thought of Oscar Mayer in the same sentence as shoes gives me images of Charlie Chaplin eating a leather boot.

The whole idea of it. It was a MOTEL?! It reminds me of that scene from OHMSS, where the 'guests' get locked in their rooms and brainwashed with hypnotic chanting. Except in this case: 'I will teach you to adore turkeys, I will teach you to love their flesh...'
