OOOh look, shiny new university computer!!! Well, if anyones wondering where I am (and if you're not I'l tell you anyway) I've managed to cope with the first 3 days at uni and am still attempting to assess whether this classes as fun or highly terrifying, hopefully it's veering more towards fun but waaagh all the same Anyway, I'll attempt to keep posting here as Baggy was forced to update his Canada adventures *waves to Baggy* and Peregrin should be wandering round if I send him here * Peregrin* and umm, hopefully I'll bribe people to claim they've read this anyway!

OOh and if Joe Aka Arnia is anywhere, can someone please ask him to leave me a message as I'm at the same uni as him and it'd be good to meet some fellow h2g2 people

How are you settling in?

Kind of ok I think, I've made quite a few friends and the freshers fair's tomorrow but it's still quite aaarghy, and I'm miles away from my mates unis and my boyfriend but I think I might manage to get one of these degree thingys

I don't suppose you know where abouts Joe or Joanna or Clive or anyone are do you only it'd be nice to meet up with them but I have no clue how to find them

Pop by Clive's page - he is around here most of the day! If not I can drop him an email and get him to get in touch. With regard to Joe, if I see him on ICQ I will give him a shout. No idea about Joanna I am afraid.

Glad it is going ok. I am sure you are doing fine It only feels kinda awkward for the first couple of days, I promise. Actually I am jealous as all hell, would love to be back at uni!

Yeah, well I've made friends and stuff and things and I'm feeling better about it today but it's still kinda waaaaaagggghhyyy OOh I found Joanna too and apparently she knows how to find Joe so we're setting up a mini meet in Durham...well very mini actually as there'll be 3 if us, 4 if I can find Clive and 5 if I arrange at a time when my boyfriends here, having said that it'd still be bigger than several of the northern meets we've claimed recently

If you speak to IanG can you tell him that I'll get in touch soon but I've lost his email address entirely and oooh tell him also that I've found an incredibly nice Lotus Elise which is all shiny and pretty and blue so he needs to get his resprayed

Thanks Phil, I'm having fun honest! Last night we saw the cheesiest band EVER play at our college and ooooh we had a fun fire alarm thingymy right in the middle which meant we were all evacuated into the quad in the middle of the band in the middle of the night in very minimal clothing..ooh but the irony of it being 4 hours after the "do not set off the fire alarm or you'll instantly have many fire engines full of firemen and police" speech was not wasted when we instantly had many fire engines full of fire men and police attending our all girls college

I remember those late night/early morning fire alarms...Always interesting to see how many non residents of the hall were there

I haven't yet seen the pics so I don't know which ones I'll be putting up. As there are two films worth I won't be putting all of them up.

I WAS at AT, and as I recall, I first of all had a very unflattering photo of my arse taken and then again very shortly after that, I then recall a hug to make up for it which was closely followed by you attempting to blind me with a head torch (mini torch was better ) ...

I'm only joking, yes you are indeed a very nice person but I'm still nto going to be impressed if you put that photo of my arse anywhere near a computer

Do you have my mobile/email address thingymy? If not do you have Pegasus's mobile and she can message you my mobile details and then you can message me when you've come up with some bribary demands and the photos are online...either that or you can send me your details and then I'll send you vast amounts of ermmm...chocolate as a bribary attempt

I'm supposedly studying English lit but we found out yesterday that all the books (all 2 of them) we've read in preparation for the course are the ones we do Easter term and the ones we've completely shunned we're doing next week..hum...anyway noones read them so it'll be fine!

Uni's kinda ok, still a bit scary though, having said that I'm off to the freshers fair later to join the paintballing society and the motosports society and umm,...the cheese appreciation society

I saw Ian last night and he said "What do you mean respray it - it is blue!" I begged to differ - pointing out it was, in fact, a dark metallic green. Cue long and anoraky argument about what colour the Elise actually is over much ... (ow my head!)
