Can someone from far, far away who has no idea where *any* of these places are, show up late in this conversation? I come bearing mufflewhumps...

But it's a much more reasonable hour over there! Of course, I'm towards the end of the workday myself...

Amy P. is definitely living in the wrong place. She seems to have a natural affinity for the north of England. I think she should move here immediately - where the landcape is friendly and the people are wild. Or something.

The best thing about the bar is that it's only just down the hall
I agree that's it's gorgeous here. The climate, on the other hand, is not. I've gained a cold too But that'll go away sooner or later.
What courses? I'm doing Archaeology

Back to Amy's comment that I seem to fancy the north of England... Never been, but most of my friends seem to be there...
Hmm, here's a thought... I know that someone (either Dad's Uncle Ken, his cousin Ken, or his cousin Dan) went to England a few years ago and visited our English relatives...I wonder if anyone from this generation has gone? Maybe someday I'll be able to... Wouldn't it be something if I already know some of my relatives through h2g2, and we don't know it? Anyone related to the Hopper family?

I'm almost afraid to take the question to ask h2g2... What if no one answers?
