This is the longest sustained conversation I've had in ages. Really, you don't have to feign the surprise. Just the facts, m'am.

Good--glad to hear I have a hand in extending the attention span of today's jaded youth. I understand the introduction of fruit to Monsieur Cuisinart. I hand over any of my fruit to Mademoiselle Donvier.

I've never met her, though I hear she's a bit frigid. I would like to meet her, though. I would love a traditional italian ice; it would be a nice change from my usual smoothie (pineapple, orange, lemon, lime, papaya, mango, banana, persimmon)

She may be a bit cold--but she can really put out! That is, she and her friends mango-and-lime, raspberry-and-peach, and strawberry-and-lemon. I'm afraid of trying rhubarb, however.
All those fruits in one smoothie? Sounds pretty tasty--what does the persimmon add to the mix?

Hmm... hard to describe... kind of like an over-ripe lime. She packs a punch, that's for sure.
I'd be afraid of adding rhubarb as well... something that grainy-fleshy can't quite be good. Not like mangos at all, which are pretty easy to break down.

I think so too, and it's a shame because I love the taste of rhubarb. Although I do believe strawberry-rhubarb is an abomination. Have you tried pomegranates?
Just curious...
Researcher 99947 Posted Jul 31, 2001
I love pomegranets. In fact, I have some in the freezer right now

FG Posted Jul 31, 2001
Get out! I've got some antelope in the freezer...what a coincidence!

You're telling me! Are you one of those ESPN people?
Just curious...
FG Posted Aug 1, 2001
Nah, just an occasional viewer. I watch only when the hockey season is going on.
Just curious...
FG Posted Aug 2, 2001
I only watch when there's a Flyers or Avs game on...I'm not *that* dedicated of a sports nut. Speaking of which, are Brazil nuts actually grown in Brazil?
Just curious...
Researcher 99947 Posted Aug 3, 2001
Wouldn't they have to be? Then again... is Brazil grown in nut?
Just curious...
FG Posted Aug 3, 2001
Not necessarily. It could be false advertising. But I would sleep better at night if I knew the history and etymology of this particular nut.
Just curious...
Researcher 99947 Posted Aug 4, 2001
In other words, you'd like to get personal with a nut? To each their own

The dollars refered to in your moniker--would that be American? Is that taking into account the recession? Have you checked this out with Alan Greenspan?
