What a beautiful blue moon!

That's it really. At 3.45 am the clouds parted briefly and a huge shiny disk practically joined me in bed.smiley - starsmiley - star

Check up trip for hip

I'm just back from my 3 month check-up Everything brilliant. They still don't think I should run - "but you could try walking a bit faster"
Took back crutches etc. and had a look at my text-book X-ray. Then bought some great English strawberries in the Market here and sat in the sun to eat them. smiley - starsmiley - star

Back to the dreaming spires

Actually the spires are defunct, but when Lincoln cathedral was the tallest building in the world there was one on each tower.
Did a thousand paces an hour just behind the counter, with not even a twinge.
This recovery was greatly aided by a 3 week holiday in Ireland where my grandchildren supervised both longish walks and funny(to them)exercises. I also spent a few hours on uneven ground at the Gorey show and climbed an old spiral staircase at Ferns castle. Very fortunately I'm not allowed to run or jump yet or I'm sure they'd have had me on the trampoline.smiley - starsmiley - star

They want to do a follow up Xray in seven weeks time by which time "it should have bedded in nicely". Gave me another four pages of exercisessmiley - starsmiley - star
