I'm just back from my 3 month check-up Everything brilliant. They still don't think I should run - "but you could try walking a bit faster"
Took back crutches etc. and had a look at my text-book X-ray. Then bought some great English strawberries in the Market here and sat in the sun to eat them.

I'm glad they allowed you to return your crutches - for some unexplained reason I can't return mine.

You mean your not going to ignore their advice and try running?! hmm.... I didn't think it was possible to actually like follow the Doctors ... instructions and guidance

I'll ask. I have to go back in another three months. Perhaps they meant I could take up race walking?

When I looked out the window two hors later it had rained and there seemed to be a dusting of snow on the opposite roof
