I'm not in the UK (as anyone that's heard me complain about not being able to go to meets in the flesh can attest) but I had no trouble voting

The rules of iCan says that you can't be a member if you're not in UK. However, if you're already signed into another DNA site, you can join iCan without ever being told to read and/or agree to their rules. (It 's always been that way, I told them about it when the testing of the site started, but I guess nobody ever bothered to read the testers comments...)

Surely not .
Now if SSO exists surely one part cannot have different criterium for joining than another. Hence I say iCan should be cast adrift and have its own totally separate logon system

So can I post on ican already as long as I'm logged in on h2, or do I have to sign on with ican first? I know SSO is meant to eliminate signing on, but with other DNA sites I had to go through a sign on process before I could post on the site.

This is what I did: followed the link to iCan, and clicked "register". I was asked for a password, I put in my H2G2 password. it then asked me for 1st and last name. And then I was in! No geographical information required.

That's me signed up as TC(DDi) hope you don't mind if I don't tarnish my serious iCan account by voting from that user.

Can someone please clarify - were Zarquon's and Croz's names modded by iCan when Zarquon and Croz posted on iCan, or was it some random act because of the DNA account system?

I think they might have posted there, I figure it's the only reason why they'd have done the modding

Zak T Duck Posted Feb 24, 2005
I hadn't even posted there. All I did was have a look around the site and updated my SSO profile at the same time
