Zarquon's Singing Fish! Posted Feb 22, 2005
I was moderated by iCan too, Croz. I immediately sent them an e-mail (in fact I think I've sent three in total) and they haven't had the courtesy to reply. I also notified Natalie and Jims. They didn't give me a reason for modding it and I can't see how 'Zarquon's Singing Fish!' could possibly contravene the House Rules.

Maybe they thought you were impersonating Fish out of Marillion.

'It's been you since before iCan was even a twinkle in Mark Moxon's eye.' I know - didn't stop the Mod, though! I wonder if it's the same one, or whether there's a rogue batch of them?

What strikes me as even odder is that ICan supposedly doesn't even use nicknames. Doesn't it use the forename and surname specified in the SSO profile?

In which case I think we're owed an apology from the ICan "team", and then have the offending mod (or busybody if it wasn't a mod) given a good slap. Repeatedly. With a herring.

I think I still am a Zaphodista - maybe we should rename them - would it sound better as Tonycurtistas - Tonyistas sounds funny although Curtistas would also do?

ahh the old Tony Curtis ploy might just work, just ensure you have a David Bowie on each arm at the time

It might work better with a couple of Marilyn Monroes

Zarquon's Singing Fish! Posted Feb 23, 2005
I must admit I did consider Marilyn Monroe - rather more appropriate, but thought tat *all* the Tony Curtis's might make more of an impact. Besides, I'm probably more of a Sophia Loren - I don't think blonde would suit me!

Ahh, a generic 1960's clonde badger woman is what we need here that'd go nicely with Tony's new hair cut
Key: Complain about this post
