Yeah but if we have it midweek it will have to be the evening for most of us which kind of means that we'll have to go to a pub which rules out under 18's doesn't it?
Ok maybe I'm an alcoholic and can't think of doing anything but drinking.

On the other hand, it is where most h2g2 meetups end up anyway, and people who's parents who will let them go to a meetup with strange internet people are probably used to that sort of thing anyway... (just an opinion...)

Can I just say I think mid-week is a bad idea, even given my comment above.
After all, look what happened last time 
Friday / Saturday is better. Saturday is best for me as I work in brum but commute there. Mid week drinking is a bad idea near home. When I have to train it back again it is even worse. But that is just me. At least if we have a saturday then we can meet mid afternoon and start drinking and then others can drift in as / when they make it.

Ok that's sort ish, now all we need now is a pub in birmingham that's vaugly pleasent during the day at the weekend. Any suggestions peeps?
Round Brindley place is usualy quiet nice but a little expensive..
