You seem to have missed my point - I am actually a megalomaniac tosser in a terrible suit.

Why not? Sounds like a good idea to me. Plus it gives us enough time to make sure EVERYONE knows! (And yes, I do mean eveyone on the entire site).

Sorry to butt in. I was directed to this forum because somebody mentioned a Brum meet-up, and I can't get to the London ones. I live in Redditch, so I'm not a Brummie, although I did work in Brum for a few years. (I'm feeling better now, thank you! )
I just felt I had to respond to 3of 8's remark that Bromsgrove is part of Birmingham because of its phone numbers, post codes and accents. All I can say is, 1 out of 3 ain't good enough. Bromsgrove, like Redditch, just has Birmingham post codes. The phone numbers are Redditch numbers (01527) and the accent is nothing like Brummie, unless the person originally came from Brum. I've lived in Redditch for 12 years, worked in Redditch and Bromsgrove, and not met anybody with a Brummie accent except in Brum. I've even worked in Solihull and not met anybody with a Brummie accent (although the phone numbers and post codes are Brum, so that's 2 out of 3!).
OK, minor rant over. I'm off to catch up with the rest of the backlog. Then I'll return to the topic of the Brum meet-up.
