Recognition, even if a couple of years late, is oft-times a bit warming, isn't it? You did a pretty tough job, in a time when there was a LOT of friction a-float. Still, you kept the dream and alive.

People didn't like me being in charge, it was as simple as that

Some folks are a bit more 'up-front' with expectations (you) and some don't like to be told what needs doing (many, MANY others) Still, you kept it going, despite some inner and outer folks.

I know it was a rough time. And hey, despite efforts, you held out and handed-off in good form. Far better than a lot of folks probably expected. You proved yourself the stronger person.

We have temperatures swinging from -15C to 10C, and every kind of precipitation those temps provide.

I hate the cold
