How many fire drills do you have there? They seem to happen rather a lot!
If they still haven't got the rota made up, just ask when your days off are this week and if the fire drill happens then, let someone else deal with it. Nice girls don't get the corner office, after all.

Y'know...if you can't get Saturday off, let's go another day. I never mind a day off, and something you said somewhere sounds a bit like you could do with a day away yourself.
Only thing is I'd need a little notice. Not tomorrow.
