h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

You may call me what ever you like as long as it falls with in the House Rules but some popular things to call me are Hellbound, HBFJ or hbfj, Hell(although there is another Hell) Helly, Hellie.

I do have a couple of questions and clarifications.

I live in the US and I generally speak and write using American English. However, to the best of my ability, I will observe UK spelling when posting words to be used for the game.

I will not vote on the entries, nor will I make anyother comments during play or judging.

I live in the Central Time Zone of the US which is normally -6 hours GMT but is currently -5 GMT due to Daylight Savings Time. So that means I have to post the word between 500h and 1300h which may be difficult for me some weeks. Would you consider setting the time to either later in the day on Friday? Or I could post the word very late on Thursday.

Is there anything else you would like me to know or do?(or not do)

I'm happy to slip things round from Midnight Friday (GMT) to 6 am Saturday (or any other time to suit you, including Thursday evening, to be honest!)
Tell me (in GMT) what times at the end of the working week suit you and I'll put it in the rules.
Now all of the elements can operate in their own right they don't have to be linear. They can overlap if we want. People could notionally be voting on the last word while thinking of their entries for the current one - which may be beneficial for people who are limited in the time they have to surf.

OK. How about the word will be posted between 00:00 and 06:00 GMT on Friday so those in the UK will wake up on Friday to a fresh new word. (OMG that means I have to come up with a word very soon. Oh, the pressure.)

I forgot to ask: Are there any guidelines I should know about as far as words to use. As far as work length, or anything else? Other than "house rules" which I know about.
