Greek statues are fine.
I like the way they don't smile!
Knock knock! Who's there? Zeus!

some of these churches
have stood for one-thousand years
is christ god, who cares?
In England where i live, there are quite a few churches that have stood for 800 or 900 years, one-thousand sounds better; but there are a few that have been here for over a thousand like the cathedral in my town:

when the stone was laid
fourteen-hundred years ago
teacher won't find us!
the afore-mentioned cathedral is a favorite for school outings for the local schools and also from France too. It was a favourite when i was at school, or should have been.

The stained glass windows
In my bathroom make water
Sparkle when I flush.

A house near the shore,
Where palm leaves wave, dolphins play.
I'd like such a place!

My mind: hundred-thousand frames!
My days end: curtains!?

I watch twilight fall.
No one helps it get back up.
Dawn has better luck.

Just the two of us,
Brewing haikus for no one.

Dread obscurity,
The place where these haikus are
Never seen again.

I write in silence.
Red ink. Green ink. Holiday time
Will soon be here, friend!

Ancient Greeks of yore;
Pure lines of thought we adore;
Silent -- everywhere!
