some of these churches
have stood for one-thousand years
is christ god, who cares?

In England where i live, there are quite a few churches that have stood for 800 or 900 years, one-thousand sounds better; but there are a few that have been here for over a thousand like the cathedral in my town:

the afore-mentioned cathedral is a favorite for school outings for the local schools and also from France too. It was a favourite when i was at school, or should have been.

The stained glass windows
In my bathroom make water
Sparkle when I flush.

there is a stairway
leads to the cathedral roof
wish i could go there

Money smells funny!
Not like legion sweaty hands!
My muscles are sore!!

Apricot blossoms
Bloom in some far off kingdom
Where Spring has arrived.

Apricots are great!
Golden fruit of great renown.
Constipation cure!!

A house near the shore,
Where palm leaves wave, dolphins play.
I'd like such a place!

The window: beach view!
My mind: hundred-thousand frames!
My days end: curtains!?

I watch twilight fall.
No one helps it get back up.
Dawn has better luck.

home cooking and internet.
Tis-good medicine!

Just the two of us,
Brewing haikus for no one.
Poetic justice?

I rise with bad hair
Each days' middle is different
Life is a sandwich
