Lady Scott

Shea, it's so good to see you back here! smiley - hug

I shoulda told you - when Lord Scott had his CT done, that first night they had the wrapping too tight on his hand. There was lots of swelling and he was in severe pain. Finally, we called the smiley - doctor and were told by all means to unwrap it and re-wrap it more loosely - the wrapping was cutting off the circulation to his hand! smiley - yikes

YAY! smiley - wow Shea is okay and her hand feels better! smiley - ok

General anesthesia is difficult to get over. I was a mess for several days after having my wisdom teeth removed ... smiley - yuk ... so I can sympathize with the nausea and extreme fuzziness you had. Awful stuff. I'm glad you feel better now, dear Shea! smiley - hug

Keep up the posts! You need your physical therapy. smiley - winkeye

I was a little worried that the wrappings were too tight, but my fingers were warm, and although a bit blue in the very beginning, nice and pink (or as pink as I get) shortly.

I'm not so dizzy anymore. I'm only taking my happy pills before bed now. smiley - ok

TJ says "hi" back, ER!

So, what movement can you expect to get back once the operational woudns etc have started to heal?

The smiley - doctor says I won't be back to 100% for about a year, but by going to physical therapy, I should get much more movement fairly quickly. I just have to be careful not to overdo it. I'm planning on changing my work habits, and taking lots of short breaks for my wrist during the course of the day! smiley - ok

HOORAY!!!!smiley - wow

I'm so glad the surgery went well. It's good to know you've got a caring TJ there to help. And it's great to see you here.

Good luck with the therapy. (I hope it's not in NYC. Things look very congested with the Convention there)

Here's a little something to get you through the remaining pain.smiley - choc
