Baseball should have stayed on strike. Went to yesterday's Met game with Shea and TJ. They lost 1-0. The only highlight for the Mets was that Mike Piazza actually threw somebody out trying to steal second base!!!!

I wanted to point out that His Barryness is also coming out with a Broadway show based on an album. At least he makes it easy to shop for birthday gifts for TJ!

Dunno ... but I do have a long weekend!

So far, we've gone to a Mets game on Doobry (they lost ... surprise) with my Sis and had a lovely dinner, lolled around the place in our robes eating and watching old Dr. Who episodes on Dontbry, and today we're supposed to head to my brother's for a barbecue. It's still raining, though. Hope it stops before 3:00!

And since Lord Scott has to work today, we're just kinda hanging around...

Tried to go out to the drug store so Shorty could use the picture enlarger thingy, but the check engine light came on in the car, had to call Lord Scott (this was before he left for work), and decided to just turn around and come home....

I'm doing laundry, which of course is a a minute....

And playing around on the computer...

Hung around like slugs here all day today. Get out the salt and to try to kill us off. It's still raining Hopefully it'll clear up in time to bbq a t-bone steak on the grill. A rainy day off of work still beats a rainy day at work!!!!

having sung it a few months ago at outreach
