The Liquid Warrior (Vescere bracis meis)

Back on duty again, so hello again.
Colleen has dragged me around the shops for the last time I hope before Christmas I keep exlaining that there's no need for her to stock up so much, the shops are only closed for two days. We are only preparing one meal for 8 this year. You'd think we were feeding the 10,000 for 6 dayssmiley - laugh

Yeah, what's that all about!?!?! I've been into supermarkets three days in a row this week and it's as if they're going to stop making food or something! Getting parked is a nightmare and then not ramming through everyone with your trolley is *so* hard to resist. and do you *ever* eat all the food you buy?

Well this is it. Coll's muttering about buying things that nobody eats. It's not my fault,I do try, but there's only so much you can eat at one sitting, you know. Then there were the salessmiley - groanStill increible luck. Got a suit for £29.Got a suit case for £30. So can't be bad. Coll bought this that and everything else I think.
Did you have a nice Christmas?

Have no fear I'd be homnoured to put placed on your list.
It tastes ok. A bit smooth than scotch.
I am not really a lover of whiskey, to be honest, anyway.

I remember doing a tour of the Bushmills Distillery. The smell was unbelievable! Not one of my favourite smells to be honest.

Apparently the staff in certain parts of the Distilery aren't allowed to drive home because the alcohol content in the air gets into their blood when they brethe and might take them over the limit.

Really? Good Lord!
I'm told the smell of the distillary is quite potent. I have never been to one. A Scots friend brought me something unpronouncable from Scotland once, but as I say, I'm not really a whiskey lover.
How are you? Well I hope?

Wasn't Glenfidditch was it? Possibly one of the more gibberish names.

The stuff really does stink whatever brand you get.

I'm good. Getting over a bit of a cold though. How's you?

Fit and well. Still get pains in the knees, but I suppose I'll just have to put with that. Considering whether or not to take redundacy or move over into the new job they are offering.

Big decision.....One of those "where do I *really* want to be?" questions.

I am 56 I am have to retire at 60. I am thinking this money will not be on the table in 4 years time, so I am considering taking the redundacy. Not made up my mind, but it seems the best option.

Well that's definately a big thing to consider. Get a heap of money and lots of time off now or work for a few more years and maybe not get the same amount at the end of it? It's tough, but only you know what you want to do. Some people would die if they stopped work, but others look forward to it.
