You should pay a visit. It's really easy to with all the cheap flights and all that. If you're ever coming to the north, you should let me know.

Yup we would both like to visit the Emarald Isle. I'm not sure what is happening tomorrow, let alone next week. But if ever we do, I'll drop you a note. Cheers

No problem. Think I've said to almost everyone I've been talking to to let me know if they come over. Getting tour planned out just in case someone actually comes.

I'm sure the tour will be worthy of the effort you have put in to it.
It is very hot here today. Tee shirt and shorts weather. Here I am at work, typical.
Still Colleen's garden looks very nice. She loves roses and the colours are very beautiful.

Sorry but I was off for a few days and this posting then got pushed to the rear and I never got to it until now. I am very sorry
The weather has been up in the 30's here and we have had a couple of Bar B Q's and bought some more roses, Colleen loves roses. There is a nice one called Remember me It's meant to be copper. But is a red and orange flower. Very beautiful.

Sounds like a lovely rose.
Don't worry. I've been off here for a few days too. Better warn you though - I'll be out of the country 1st - 11th July, probably without computer access. But I'll get back on here assp afterwards.

That's okay. I'll be hospital for a knee replacement operation on 7th, so will be off work for at least 8 weeks.
If you are going on hls, have a good one.

For about 5 years I wore a metal brace on my right leg to help me walk. Then in 2002 I had a knee replacement operation. 19 staples on the wound This meant having to learn how to walk again, first a zimmer frame, then crutches then a single stick, then "stickless". Then on Nov 30th 2004 it came to pieces, so on Dec 30th 2004 I returned to have it rebuilt. My right leg is now an inch shorter than the left and this has thrown out the spine, in which I have to have a series of injections for the pain. I now have to go in and have the left one done. Hoping this will equal up the legs and the spine
Doing kids clubs? I once was a PR officer for the local scouts group and I helped run a local youth club on a Saturday morning, and that was hectic enough. Good luck.

Sounds like you've had a hecktic time with hospitals and stuff.
I really hope this operation'll go really well. you have to let me know how you get on. Don't let anything get you down though.

First day back.
Operation not as good as we expected. The knee became full of fluid and I had to go and have it drained. Still has fluid and is painful, but I'm back the at the pit face.

Eeek. But if you're up and about, that has to be a good thing.

Yup, not running races, or absailing yet
Not driving as it is the left leg and that involves gear changing. Thinking about getting an automatic
How's yourself?

It's like the old joke;
Patient to doctor. Will I be able to play the piano after the operation?
Doctor; Yes of course.
Patient; That's funny I couldn't play it before
Boom! Boom!
Absailing? Me, you're joking.
Putting on my shoes in the morning is more than enough exercise for me

Know the feeling. Me and exercise kinda went out the window when I got my car. Before I goyt it I used to walk a lot. Now I drive. 'Tis not goos.

Well I suppose walking is supposedly good for you, perhaps.

NPY Posted Oct 2, 2005
Yeah. Though helps if you actually do it a lot, which I don't anymore.

Ok on level surfaces I'm fine, stairs are a challenge. Still I do try to walk and leave the car at home.
