Every day is an adventure. Going down to Bournemouth for a lady's festival. I'm quizmaster on Friday night.

Yup. I've written 100, but will only use 50 this time round. I'm in three quiz teams. One is called Ye Ancient Grande & Noble Order Of Ye Olde Bastards. The second The Old Crocks. The third The Regius Professors.

Interesting rounds.

My girlfriend keeps pestering me to give her the answers, but they are locked away. I've had many threats and much pleading. But I'm a hard man Alright.

Well it would be cheating if you made the questions and she was on the winning team. Wouldn't be right.

Weekend was very good raised £728 for charity. The quiz went down well, we only had time for 30 questions.Looking forward to the next weekend now.

Still it's an impressive amount you raised.

Some is for The Widow's Fund and some for a children's marching band. They have to pay for their own instruments and uniforms. The band not the widow's

I'm sure they'll appreciate it too.

Sunday was a lovely hot day and we had a bar b q in the girlfriend's back garden. It was a very good weekend.

Sounds like fun. It's been such good weather here for well over a week now. Not sure what went wrong. Not complaining though.

Friday was great. So hot. We had friends over and sat in the garden sipping wine until 2350. Today, Monday it has been raining
Took girlfriend to see the stage play Billy Elliot, the Musical as penned by Elton John. The theatre was packed and the show excellant. The lead boy was so good and Tim Healy as his father was brilliant. Girlfriend, Colleen, enjoyed it so much.

Still haven't seen Billy Elliot the film version. Have to watch it sometime, just so I've seen it.

We've just had three very sunny days. Got sunburnt arms. But now it's warm, but cloudy and kinda raining.

Working Monday, but not Tuesday. It was a nice day at first, but turned chilly in the after noon.

I'm on the north coast of Northern Ireland - you know the place that's normally covered with rain clouds on the weather on tv?

The UK sems to get such extremes of weather.

Ah yes. A friend of mine goes to Ireland a lot. Loves fishing.
I've never been but the girlfriend has often mentined she'd like to go, so we will one day. not this year as we have things planned.
