Afternoon folks, just rec'd voicemail message from VC. Lil was late going down to theatre and is not yet back on the ward. VC is visiting this evening and will either post directly here or let me and/or Prof. know what the situation is in which case we will post accordingly.

6.45pm, nothing as of yet on my side

Hi folks it's 9pm and I just got back from the hospital.
Lil had her operation this morning and was in theater for longer than expected.
The 's apparently had to change the treatment plan in the operating room....
She's feeling Very groggy and is on morphine injections. So she's sleeping it off.
I doubt that she'll be out tomorrow and may have to stay in for the weekend....
so you lot behave yourselves whilst Lil is away and keep this
place tidy for when she comes back....
Well I have to go now, I'm in need for some food!!!! And I'll try
to keep you all updated on Lil

Why do they always bring grapes, Yuk; they make you need to go to the loo; which is always difficult. A nice bottle of would be far more useful.

Anyway, Lil; by now the worst should be over, so hopefully you are now in post-op haze; soon you will enter "ohmigod i am bloody starving!" state, rapidly followed by "why isn't half the world phoning me?" then "When the hell can i get out of this place?"

I shall text you tomorrow when maybe the brain bits are less wobbly; meanwhile just....
