Thoughts on Individuality
Everyone is an individual. Individuality is important in life - everyone should respect each other's rights to hold beliefs and opinions5, even when they do not agree with thier own. Therefore, you should not enforce your thoughts, beliefs, or ideas on to other people, or use your beliefs, opinions or feelings as an excuse to hurt others, mentally or physically.6 While a (hopefully) small part of your individuality is lost through the need to join a society, too much loss, through strict obeydiance to trendiness, is, in my opinion, bad8.If you've nothing more important to waste your time with...

1It was either that or "I plan to live forever, or die trying." (Vila, Blakes 7, that eppy where they pick up Cally (the 4th one in the 1st series(I think it's 'Time Squad')))2I blame my overuse of footnotes on this.3Well, g'uh4Although, as I watch it on C4, I've only seen a few episodes.5Or not to have them.6You could argue that saying you can not force your opinions on to others is forcing my opinion of not forcing opions on to you. And I would probably reply "Um..."77At least until I think of a better counter-argument.8Although if you want to follow trends blindly, and enjoy it, go ahead. I'm not stopping you. I'm just pointing out that you shouldn't have to do things or wear things just because they are 'in', or make other people do things or wear things which are 'in'9.9Whatever 'in' means.10I'm not anti-Alabaster or anything. It's just a personal preference.11ie when I think of it
