I have a viewing booked for Saturday afternoon so we shall see what happens, but this is not a good time of year to sell! It's too close to xmas Might be lucky tho I guess!
Am not really posting much anywhere tonight..........just a couple on the Tea Shoppe to Sheryl and Miz!

Sorry it's a quiet night all around. But I've seen that the oddest assortment of people can come on hootoo at any time, eh? Perhaps that'll pick up for you.
You don't happen to know anyone really good in spell-casting, do you? If I send along some lottery numbers, a friend does a few things, perhaps I could win enough to buy your current place? We love space and a challenge.

Hmmmmmmmmmm now let me see
Am not personally acquainted with the local neighbourhood witch so................think I'll have to pass on that one
Am sure you'd love to live in my place it's quiet, peaceful, plenty of space, lots of garden and close to all major amenities! Ever thought of emigrating?

<space*ponders ......*
BTW, is the place big enough for a daughter, son-in-law and two -boys just starting as well? You know, plenty of room to run on their leashes ......

Plenty of room for everyone.........has 4 bedrooms and 1/3 acre of land so you could stake the kids out and not have to worry bout them
You could invest in a goat and a couple of chickens too if you wanted

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Oct 12, 2004
Hmmm, stake them just close enough to spite, but not maim each other, eh?
And if you don't mind, I'd prefer a cow or two. I hate trying to milk a goat. Very difficult.

tsarina Posted Oct 12, 2004
is that spit or spite?
Have never tried milking a goat, milked a cow or two in my time tho What's so difficult about milking a goat?
The tiara suits you well ....
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Oct 12, 2004
Perhaps for smaller, slimmer lady-hands, a goat isn't so difficult. I never quite mastered the 3-finger squeeze without getting kicked.
And I think I had enough of cows when a lad. One summer job had 52 jerseys, twice a day ..... The son-of-a- bought an automated system a week after I was back to school.
You've some farm experience too, eh good lady?
*just a good, long, warm and some , my day gets old....*

tsarina Posted Oct 12, 2004
The farm experience is only from having grown up in very rural areas.......not from having lived or been brought up on a farm! But, in those days, you could just about go anywhere and do anything as a kid and be perfectly safe, unlike today! We used to make some sandwiches and squash and then go off on our bikes for the day, maybe stopping off at a farm or two along the way
In one place I lived, there was an egg packing station across the road, it was part of a local farm and we used to help out collecting the eggs (all free range) and then used to watch them being 'x-rayed' by passing infront of a lightbulb (real high tec stuff huh?) then they would be stamped with a lion and packed ready to be distributed Maybe I have rose-tinted glasses but am sure childhood was much happier and definitely more innocent in those days???

Life in my village of 300 or so people was much the same. Most of my cousins and classmates were farm kids. So I spent as much time as I could on any one. So no, the glasses aren't tinted by nostalgia, my dear, ...life really was much simpler and safer. Everywhere.
And we weren't so technical, we literally "candled" the eggs, ... no light-bulbs.
How-ever, my day has just gotten beyond old, the eyes are near ready to revolt. So all I can do is wish you some peace and quiet tonight, an opportunity to rest a bit, and then a safe trip home to a cozy bed. Mmmmmm.
I'll probably wake a time or two, so will check here and the mails, drop a note as the focus permits, and more s, caring and s to ease your night.
Smiles, my dear lady H.

my very dear friend
I shall keep an eye out for you through the night but may possibly doze a little as the night wears on
Sleep well and sweet dreams or possibly
A big and a warm to chase you off to sleep

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Oct 13, 2004
Ummm, are you awake? I'm not quite, just a bit of stiffness here and there requiring stretchings.....
I found your note, my dear. I can understand your annoyance at people parading through the house, poking into every nook, cranny and closet. We always tried to to as unintrusive as possible when we hunted, and respect personal privacy. But I do imagine there will be those who delight in looking for anything to snigger or sneer about too, eh? With luck, it'll be many years yet before we experience that.
I'd quite like to reply to your note, but until I can be fairly assured it actually would get to YOU, .... Perhaps just as well to keep it for occassions when I know you can actively look for it, eh?
I really hope you are catching some rest, good lady. I know the hours between shifts don't really allow much of it.
And just FYI, I'll be late finding you Wednesday night, ... we'll all be out for a final dinner with the guests before their Thursday depart again. So for now, ...
s and s enough to tide you over for quite some time, lady H.

I wasn't asleep but was certainly resting my eyes for a while Despite being short staffed, it's been relatively quiet and have times when inner eyelid inspection was possible
For now, whilst my mail is open to family perusal then I think it best to wait until I have had things sorted out and fixed The thought od other people reading my mail, however innocuous, is not a pleasant thought
Am trying to get as much rest as possible, but tonight am going to have to come in early due to road closures for a football match in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff Am hoping that we may be allowed to start and finish an hour early so that I won't have to wait around too much before the start of shift! Will have to be here and parked up in company car park prior to 6.30pm which is when they close the roads!
Returns the s and smooch>es and hopes you have a pleasant dinner and there's not too many 'oink oinks' afterwards

Just finished another 2 outings of shopping and sight-seeings. As the chauffeur, I'm bored to tears, and the back and knees are in terrible shape. But just dinner out yet, in an hour, then..... BRANDY !!!!
Have you any prescriptions for achey lower back, thighs and knees? Any suggestions by mail, during your meal break, would be appreciated.
How was your day? And did you accomplish the early start and end of your shift that you were hoping?
Until perhaps another few hours later, &

tried to post earlier but been having major problems with hootoo again tonight and it's been busy in work as well
Hope you've had a lovely evening and didn't exit the restaurant making 'oinking' noises
The tiara suits you well ....
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Oct 13, 2004
Yes, I know hootoo was a major stinker for a couple of hours. So I wasn't too worried. And then I also guessed your almost as short-handed as last night, so postings will be few and far between.
We also retained any porcine sound effects until we were in the car. We DO have to return there, you know.
They added an item that I tried, a pork tenderloin steak. Atleast a 10 ounce slice of pork tenderloin, grilled as you would a steak, with mushrooms. I WILL have it again.
Anyway, our travels are done for the day, so I am having a few sips of brandy against the aches and groans. But will still certainly accept any "home-remedies" you might impart by mails later.
In general, or specifics, how was your day before an early-start to the shift?
s a-plenty .....
