Honest! The mere fact of it being w**k would make it lose all appeal to me. It would just become a duty, a tedious chore...

Yes, please do.
Funny note from RL-- I phoned my roommate again tonight-- about half an hour ago-- and once again, she wasn't home!! Once again, I got her dad, who seems a very nice guy and all, but it's his daughter I have to live with for the next nine months. The funny part is that he was just up here about two days ago bringing back one of my roomie's aunts and/or uncles who live in my area. That's just too cool.

I don't know Amy, it seems like a pretty good sign to me that your roommate is never home! Sounds like an ideal living situation to me!

Now that I think about it, that *could* be a good thing...
Or she just has a life and I don't? Nah.
(actually, all my friends are on vacation right now, so I really do have an excuse)

Amy, I hope you have as good of luck with your roommates as I did. I made some very good friends in college. I was Best Man for two of my old roommates and in three others's weddings.
I on the other hand have never been married. Always the Best Man, never The Man...or something like that.
