Organising the rings is going swimmingly: we are getting them from Orcadian Jeweller Sheila Fleet: http://www.sheila-fleet.co.uk and have been exchanging chatty and helpful emails with someone (presumably her son) for a week or so now.
It's likely we'll be able to see them in the Edinburgh shop before going in to discuss them, get final fittings, agree engraving ("Him. Mine" perhaps) and so on.
Have a poddle through the site and see if you can guess which ones we're opting for.
Dress Stress on the other hand is morphing in to Distress. Arrrgh. Why isn't there a smiley?

Gorgeous rings!
Did you get my email with photies?
I meant it. It's no biggie if you don't like it - I can just wait until you've chosen yours and get something to fit in with that.
Just one thing though ... I won't be going skyclad

Got the photies and sent an email. Lovely frock. Strongly suggest pink wellies though. Iron age bogs are not kind to heels.
I'm off to a fabric shop later today. No-one sells dress-fabrics any more.
Have a great time at the V&A!

Dress stress is over - I've bought some appropriate fabric and now feel no need to panic until I start making it up in July.

Just spent an hour with Z talking to the celebrant.
She's a sweet-heart, but I now know why the first extimate of ceremony length was an hour and a half!
We're both rather worded-out now, and we probably said less than 100 each.

Managed to get a top and ... um ... another top that go with the fabric I've got to make the skirt out of. Which is just brilliant. The skirt will take a couple of hours to make at the most, and most of that will be finding the scissors. I now feel unbelievably more cheerful about the whole thing.

Between cleaning my teeth this morning and putting in my contact lenses I suddenly thought
- I've got to get Everything Sorted in the next 10 days, and went from a chilled feeling of being on the crest of a wave to mild panic and haste instead of speed.

*wondering what would happen if Ben would end up wearing the outfit she wore when taking Hyp to Stonehenge - well, minus the hat, maybe*
I mean... you'd still get married, right?

Oh yus!
The boys are wearing suits, which I must admit seems a bit wimpish on everyone's part. I think we should either put them in climbing gear or something outlandish. For some reason Z doesn't agree....
Not sure why.

How about kilts at least? I've seen a few men in the London underground wearing kilts - looking very good providing they've got the calves for it...
