Hello

Well last week was incredibly warm for February, in the 14+ range I think. But it's gone cold again now

Greetings Mel!

I find you as a quite charismatic person, judging from what you put into your personal space. You replied to one of my posts(the one on god and religion)and stangely, I seem to find your reply intriguing. Inriguing,eh? Anyway, I am new to this site and I could really make do with friends like you.
Your friend to be,
cadassa.
Greetings Mel!

Nice to hear from you Cadassa. I'm glad you think I have charisma
I'm interested to know why you found my post intriguing. I try not to get into religious debates online as I have had some unplesant experiences, so if I back off at any point because others join in and it gets really heated then you have been given prior warning!
I've had a quick look at your user space and if you think that h2g2 will help you get your exams I'm afraid you are mistaken. It will broaden your knowledge but I don't think it will help train you for exams. However the BBC do offer a bitesize revision site for the UK GCSEs which sound similar to what you're doing.
You can have a look at it here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/siteguide/index.shtml
Other than that I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Hi SuperGrandad.
You seem to be settling in nicely for a 'newbie'
I'm glad you like my page, I used to spend a lot of time on it, now it just needs and overhaul to bring it into the new century. I keep on updating it to keep the information up to date but other than that I haven't done a lot on it for ages.
I see on your page that you like gardening , my Dad is a huge gardening fan and goes at it in an industrial way. He has recently erected a 2nd polytunnel so now we hardly ever have stuff in season, it's all either early or late though I don't mind because he also grows loads of stuff that we wouldn't be able to otherwise like apricots

Mnnn Fresh Bread
I'm currently living in France and have had pain-au-chocolate this morning and other nice french pastries I like the idea where they do this every Friday morning. Everyone takes it in turns to buy the pastries for the Friday morning, I think it is one of the things I shall miss when I go home because the English pastries just aren't as good
! <- one day that might become a smiley!

Hello there, Mel. Its been a while since I sent a message to you, because I have been busy lately. I would like to ask if you use ICQ. If so, let me know, because then we can have a chat real-time, instead of sending messages via h2g2. My number is 195638641. Keep in touch.
Cheers,
cadassa.
Bongiorno, Mel.
E G Mel Posted Apr 20, 2004
Sorry Cadassa, I'm only online at work so real time chat tends to take up too much time. I can fit h2g2 in around my work.
I'm always happy to talk here if you want though.
