It's cheaper by plane and gets me to Luton which isn't in the centre of London so it's easier for my parents to meet me. The train to Paris takes about 2hs, the metro across Paris takes about an hour and the plane itself takes about 1h20 but by the time all the connections have been added on it takes ages!

This time round I'm leaving work at 12 (GMT+1) and getting in at 6(GMT) which is a total of 7 hours but it being xmas eve I have left extra time.

I'm back for 11 days and I can't wait to be home and see everyone again, I'm sure the days will fly by

I can give you all the help you need on site, I don't tend to enter into email correspondance unless it's really necessary

If you look on your space (click the 'my space' link on the left side of this screen or this link U546544) you'll see a greeting from an A.C.E (assistant community editor) on your space, it's in the section 'Messages' and is also showing under your conversations titled HI... (F1707063?thread=358597 if you can't find it there ) If you follow that thread you'll find Serephina has left you a couple of links to some useful pages on how to get started.

Although I have given you the link to your page and conversation it's best if you use the generic 'My Space' button and work from there because it is on every h2g2 page and if you ever feel a little bit lost you can easily get home in order to start out again

If you're on a DigiBox you may find SEF (U211824) very helpful she has a page here A1910062 to help with signing on troubles.

If you're an ex LDer then A1027171 might be of use and it also has some other DigiBox links to make this site that little bit easier.

If DigiBox and LD mean nothing to you then just ignore those links

p.s I wouldn't put your email address out and about too much if I were you, although I think there is something in place here to stop external 'spiders' searching for email addresses you can never be too careful

I cycle everywhere, it looks really strange if I'm dressed up as I am today in a skirt and Knee highs but I cope!

Xmas was great and being at home with friends and family was the best bit

I actually had quite a quiet new year though again this was with friends so it didn't really matter.

My boyfriend met me from the airport and caught a train just after I left to come back to France so he spent all 11 days with me

I don't know when I am next in the UK but my bf is coming to see me for Valentines day, I'm just about to book his plane tickets

I know what you mean about Xmas being fun but not exciting, I think this year for me was good because it gave me a chance to see everyone again though I did enjoy last year when I spent it in the Lakes at my Bf's home.
