You'd better wrap up warm and have a nice cup of
Hope you'll be better soon.
I'm fairly immune to virtual viruses, so don't worry.

Only fairly immune? I'll sit a bit further from the screen then. Nose is running like a tap and my ribs are in pain through all of the extreme coughing and sneezing. I didn't go to work today but I managed to do a bit on line as I'm supposed to be running a workshop tomorrow and some people will have to cover for me.

Still not back to work. Thanks for all the sympathy!
The nights are quite strange. My dreams are fairly wild and all seem to be stressful and work related. Maybe there's a touch of delirium in there!

I've had some rather nice dreams lately, but the very annoying alarm clock always put an end to them before they could get really interesting.
Hope you're feeling a bit better every day.

It's a lovely sunny day and my sleep was much better, so I'm feeling, koff, koff, much better.
It's interesting that your last dreams are the most interesting. Maybe it's because you wouldn't remember the earlier ones. I find my morning dreams to be interesting too.
I remember reading once that your brain can hold information in a buffer and slot new information into a dream to make sense of it. So, for instance when the alarm going off in the morning is the fire alarm in the dream. Your brain holds up the noise of the bell for a tiny fraction of a second and then puts in some run up information for there to be a bell in the dream. Clever stuff!

That's true, I've experienced stuff like that quite often, but eventually I wake up from the 'real' reason. Seems the brain can't uphold the 'made-up' thing for too long.

I'm off to my sister's this afternoon. I'll be staying over the weekend so I probably won't be online until next week now.
Have a dreamy weekend!

Oh, that sounds as if you're finally better.
Have a great weekend - are you going because of Mothering Sunday or whatever it's called (mother's day in May here)?

We had a nice time at my sister's. She and her husband took us to Howarth where the Bronte sisters lived.
I've still got a bit of a cough but I'm much better.
I've got a job interview on Tuesday. Starts at 9am and finishes some time in the afternoon!

Glad to hear you had a good time and that you're better.
Will you be the interviewee or the interviewer?

Oh, and before I forget: Icy's thinking about switching his provider, which is currently BT. What provider are you with now, and what's your impression?

Vestboy Posted Mar 6, 2008
I'm being interviewed, so that makes me the interviewee.
BT is my current provider. No, wait a minute Sainsbury's Energy is my current provider my telephone/broadband provider is BT. We get gas from Sainsbury's too. Don't ask! Yes, it does keep escaping out of the top of the carrier bags.

Oh, if BT is your broadband provider, then to you - you'll need it.
As for the gas - I bet you could have that cheaper - just connect a pipeline to...

I could eat more beans I suppose...
Ooh..er! I had to sit down then when the mental image went by.
They gave me a new computer at work yesterday. It's a tablet. But I couldn't swallow it. You can write on the screen with the special pen and it saves your notes... They could have given me a pencil and some paper.

Considering your age, they'd better have given you a rock and a chisel.
Btw, how did the interview go?

Vestboy Posted Mar 25, 2008
Ah... the interview. It went really well and they were very impressed with my presentation. All 87 slides. One of the other interviewees only had 4 slides. I felt sorry for him and offered him some of mine. He refused. Why they employed him and not me I'll never know!
