There wasn't movement at the station
Posted Jan 19, 2000
I'm in denial.
I refuse to believe that soon I am going to actually start doing some work again. No, it's just not going to happen.
As I'm sure no one has noticed, I'm in the SIXTH week of my seven weeks of freedom. That means not very long at all. And I still have that mountain of extra work to conqueor.
Procrastination. I'm trying as hard as I can, but my conscience is willing me to cave in. I need a little procrastination support here.

Yipee! It's snowing!
Yes, I know this isn't news for most of you, but I usually live in Australia, remember?

Happy Year 2000!
Posted Jan 1, 2000
Welcome to the year 2000. On your left, you will notice all the acopolypse-predicting people hurridly correcting their signs to read "365 days until Doomsday!" On your right, there is the non-existant threat of the Y2K bug. No, nothing happened.
I realise that some of you are yet to enter into this futuristic-- um, I guess not-- world. It's great, let me assure you. Granted, there isn't much sun today, but I don't think that has anything to do witht he new year.
I had a great night last night, how about everyone else? Bringing in the new year in style- and I remember almost all of it! The world didn't end, which was a big relief. I hope everyone recieved their carrier pigeons from bubster reassuring them that the world is safe once more.
It is. For a little while, at least.

Countdown

One sleep until Christmas.
Santa comes tonight, and I know he'll know where we are because my brother wrote him an email at santa.com and told him we'd be at our holiday house. "If you don't know where that is, ask the easter bunny." Sounds good to me.
