Happy Year 2000!

Welcome to the year 2000. On your left, you will notice all the acopolypse-predicting people hurridly correcting their signs to read "365 days until Doomsday!" On your right, there is the non-existant threat of the Y2K bug. No, nothing happened.

I realise that some of you are yet to enter into this futuristic-- um, I guess not-- world. It's great, let me assure you. Granted, there isn't much sun today, but I don't think that has anything to do witht he new year.

I had a great night last night, how about everyone else? Bringing in the new year in style- and I remember almost all of it! The world didn't end, which was a big relief. I hope everyone recieved their carrier pigeons from bubster reassuring them that the world is safe once more.

It is. For a little while, at least. smiley - winkeye

A carrier pigeon that was "damaged in the fireworks", KM? Surely bubster's carriers would be more sensible than that!

As for you, Radio, the world will only be safe for as long as it ignores us, and then it's going to get interesting...smiley - bigeyes!

Happy new year!

*shrug* They could have taken it by surprise. You know. Didn't see the flares till it was too late, like. Oh, it's tragic. I can't take it.

Immersing yourself in tragedy... that's probably not a great way to start the new year...smiley - bigeyes!

Perhaps not great, but superlatively dramatic, wouldn't you say?
