Still standing, I see

Here I am in rainy england, finally getting my act together enough to visit my ol' dusty h2g2 page. Anyone around?

Hmm, guess not right now.

Almost there now

I've just popped in to say hello, to have a break from my study. (Although most of my study time seems to be taken up with breaks... I wonder why?)

I'm done five of my exams, and I've got three to go. So in eleven days I will be done. Done with the exams, done with school. For ever. Finished. Finito. It's an amazing feeling.

Now if only I could learn a whole years worth of physics and history in three days...

My HSC

So they (the big exams) are in about three weeks and it's beginning to look rather scary. I'm hearing stories about people studying (or who studied) 8 hours a day. Geesh, my concentration won't last for that many hours int he one day. I'm meant to be doing physics right now, come to think of it.

Then the Olympics are just one big distraction. There's always something on tv, there's always another medalt o be one, another famous face about to race, another event to go to. Other years don't have this problem.

Oh well. So I don't do well in my HSC, it's nowhere near the end of the world. There are other opportunities, other chance. But tell that to my parents.

Showing Oz to the world

I went to Opening Ceremony of the Olympics last night, and I have to say I was amazed. The atmosphere was astounding, let alone the performance. I was impressed. The whole thing was... was... I'm at loss to find another superlative suitable. But you get my picture.

Go Wallabies!

The Wallabies beat South Africa this weekend! smiley - smileysmiley - smileysmiley - smiley

Okay, so that may not seem all that interesting to most, but it was the first rugby game I've ever watched. And it seemed exciting to me. Of course, that could be because the atmosphere is in comparison to the exam stress aura which has existed throughout my place of dwelling.

But yeah!
