Perhaps they can start getting rid of the evil ones in m/cr too... until then I'm making an effort to get the train to town!

But you must admit that the Bus Timetable is an even greater work of fiction than "Lord Of the Rings".

Most buses on Wilmslow road get over this by not having a timetable at all. Well, Stagecoach and Bullocks do, but the Magic Buses blatently don't, neither does UK North. Its like... another bus will be along in a few minutes....

They say it will be every 6 minutes but then you wait two hours and three come along at once. With another two arriving as the first three leave. You're lucky to see the buses ever again.

Already when they get to East Didsbury, the 42s are travelling in twos. With the addition of the 42A, W2 and 40R they are usually travelling in threes... until Withington, where the 41, 43 and 46 can join in.... (not to mention the 142 and 143) by the time they reach Owens Park they're often in 5s, furthur into town it can be a continuous stream...

Whenever I walk from my house to the stop I always see the 11, 13, and 101 all leave together and they all go to the same place. The trouble is, the one that's last never bothers to stop if he's a minute later, as he thinks that everyone who wanted to get on the bus would have caught the other 2, the one in the middle thinks that the people who want to get on already caught the first one, and the first one wants the other buses to collect the people - so all 3 buses driver past, even if you wave like mad.

It is - I am very sad about it.
And then the 48 comes along - I never know where it stops, but whenever I am waiting for a bus, I always see the 48...
