*NM breaks into song*
*When I was younger, so much younger than today*
*I never needed anyone to help in any way*
*But now those days are gone and I feel so insecure*
*Now I find I've changed my mind, I've opened up the door*
*Help me if you can I'm feelin' down'*
*And I do appreciate you bein' 'round*
*Help me get my feet back on the ground*
*Won't you please, please help me!*

Yeah - why not?
I don't suppose any of you have read my Beatles-related articles???
Hello, Bluebottle!

No...but I will. They were, in my mind, the greatest influence on music in several hundred years.(the mideivel(sp.)recording of peasant harmony was the last!)
It's always interesting to here a "young whippersnappers'" take on them!

I guess it must be...
I also like Gilbert & Sullivan, as you probably read!

True.....Rogers and Hammerstien did volumes as well.(if you care for "showtunes")
With me, the genre doesn't matter....if it's good music, it's good music. I love it all from hard American country to Mozart!
They all have had a hand in what we listen to today.

Indeed they did... to a greater or lesser extent.
I often wonder what music would be like if, for example, the piano had never been invented... What difference would there be today in modern music?

Lets' not forget Les Pauls' invention of the electric guitar!
