I was trying not to think of football, Mac. Until Friday at least, when I have no option.

Not least because this is obviously the week where Van Persie's season comes to an end.

Jack, he's had a good run though. We got more wins out of him than I expected.

I've enjoyed the last three weeks. Now to endure it until May.

We'll be relying on Chamakh to make the difference.

We'll join the polar bears up North under the ice.

It won't be pleasant but look at the alternative.

Coca-cola and seal pups eh? It could be ok, so long as we get to have the same fur as the bears.

And as long as the polar bears leave us alone.

I have a horrible feeling they'll be nicking our seal pups as soon as they're out of the oven.

Anyway, gotta go.

You'd think given we're letting them have Coke, they'd let us get on with eating the pups.

I've arrived in time for tea break.

I got here before 9 for once - and had to go to a flipping meeting

And couldn't even sleep through it as there were only two others there.

What sort of idiot organises a meeting for a time when sensible people are still in bed?

Obviously anybody who organises a meeting at any time is suspect anyway, but 9am???

Afternoon people. It would've been morning but I just remembered I had to send a birthday card.

the meeting was at 10 but I had to get here early as dropped my daughter from school.

Got a letter from her teacher about lates so thought I should get her there early for once - well I let her out the car when the news was on which was early for her

If the news had already started she's still late, isn't she?

When does she usually arrive? During the 10 o'clock news?
