Play It Meistro,One More Time
Posted May 3, 2008
After several years of rest, my buddies want to get the band back together.
Shades of "Blues Brothers", but they ain't no orphanage to save.
Last week was murder. Practice Thursday night, play Friday night, anniversary Wednesday Night and Kariokie/night out the NEXT thursday night.
Combine that with the fact that I work "construction" with a 4:45am "curtain call" and you might get an idea of just how tired I am right now.
That's ok, I guess. Private party to play for next Saturday. Thank God my employer just started a 4/10 work week. With any luck, I'll survive!

Clearing Journal Entrys. How Strange.
Posted Jan 12, 2008
I thought I'd clear out some trash on my Journal Entry section. That don't work like I thought it would{to say the least!}. I had supposed that they would just go away, but they don't
Each one that left was replaced by the next older one. This is not what I was after.
I was looking for "Clean Blue". Looking to "unclutter, as it was.
Oh well. Maybe I'll just write an extreamly LOOOONG entry. That would get the old stuff off, at least.
Nah. That would take too long.

And So We Continue
Posted Dec 29, 2007
Another Christmas has come and gone(unless you are a strict traditionalist.....then it's not over 'till Janurary 6). It's been fun. Lots of time off{Had to burn some vacation days...still a few to go).
Nothing really exciting.Just hanging 'bout the house drinking FAR more "American Piss Beer" than I should. Spending more money than I have and hoping everyone else out there is having as much fun with their life as I am!
I suppose one day I will meet a few of these "young whipper snapper" Researchers, but for now anonimity suites me. I spend my time here checking the "Who's online list" to see, if perhaps, an old friend has happened in.
Doesn't happen often, but when it occurs, it's wonderful to catch up on what's happened in their lives.
And so I'll "lurk". You "young whipper snapper" Researchers should be so lucky to have old friends as I have met here.
In time, maybe one or two will actually come into "My Space" and say "Hi"!

'Tis the season. Just popping in to wish anyone who might stumble into my forest the best for the comming year.
May your past be precious and your future prosperous. Always remember. What has been was meant to be, it is the future which is still yours to form.

Old Geezer Checking In
Posted Dec 8, 2007
I come here from time to time just to see if all is well...and if, perhaps, an old friend is about. Hard to tell, at times, as most have changed their name.
I see that some old discussions are still being chewed upon(just how long can one dicuss the existance of God is, in itself, argueable,.....and PLEASE give it up folks, Nighthoover shall never return).
Every once in a great while I get to meet and talk with an old friend. It's always a pleasure short lived, as they are as sporadic in their visits as I am. For the moment that it exists it is a treasure, and I do cherish it.
In the meantime, I must say I have enjoyed my near nine years of watching this site grow. It's nice to think that at sometime in its infancy I had a hand in its developement and survival.
All y'all keep up the good work. This ol' redneck from the southern U.S. is proud to say he's been a part of it......for whatever that may be worth.
