Well, I'll be there. You can all drink in my beauty! Actually, maybe it would be best if you were drunk!

I was there, Babel. I signed the attendance forum. All within an hour of your posting it.
Maybe restaurants would be fun. Does anyone have anything on restaurants in Glasgow? If not, I call restaurants.
DDGDB, thy beauty intoxicates us always.

LiS, did Lyns give you a copy of the Tourist Office Guide to Glasgow?
At the back there is a big section on restaurants and Bars in and around Glasgow. That might inspire you.
Try DiMaggio's , just off Queen St. V. nice

Yep, Babel, I got it, but I think it got lost somewhere along the way, probably in the vicinity of that escalator or at the Old Printworks.
DiMaggios id noted as interesting prospect.

Thanks, mate.
Will have a look. I've gotten a couple of good tips from people here at work.
I'll check it out.

Go for it, and don't forget, Kaila is having her "off to Ireland" do in the Old Printworks this weekend.

to you, my son. It's not fair, because:
a: I can't go to the leaving do, or
b: I can't go to the arriving do or
c: I can't go anywhere atm, or
d: All of the above.
(ok, so I am slightly the worse for a few drinkies, can you tell?
I want to talk, but there's nobody I want to speak to online)

Hello, unsocial bloke here
Unfortunately, I find myself on, only to see you (EV that is) post and run again. I got some photo's back today. Most of them are quite good. Some good ones of you, especially one of you doing your trademark "doffs hat"
Will try and get them up as soon as I can.

Hee, hee, hee.
Of all the people who were involved in that little escapade, why has EV been tagged with the escalator thing?
Poor you, EV.
So Wednesday in Glasgow then? Bummer.
*debates on whether to drive and stay or train and home*

It wasn't even a proper escalator.

Babel17 Posted Jan 14, 2001
So what constitutes a 'Proper' escalator, in your book, EV?
