Got a nice email from Lyns yesterday, when I got home, thanking us and how nice it was to meet up finally, also that she has a cameraman onboard. Unfortunately he isn't available for the 6th Jan, so we'll need to just use that as 'research' But it does mean another days trip to Glasgow at some point in January. (not sue whether to or at this point)
Of course, you may know this already, as she may have sent you an email too

Sorry we couldn't make it guys thinks took longer in the afternoon and the Videotographer was put off until 8pm so we were really pressed for time.

Mind you, Kirk, Reception venue, Video, Photograph, Cars, Stationary, Flowers, Cake, guest list and extras were all sorted out. So an exhauting but productive weekend don't you think.

Blimey, and to think I was feeling smug about having done my Xmas shopping.

First on the list although I forgot the one I was meant to be giving her on Christmas day so had to buy a quick replacement on the Ferry.

Blimey! Just been sooo busy the last few days!
This has included 2 trips to Glasgow! (Tuesday and Thursday) and I still didn't get what I'm looking for! Come to that, i didn't even have time to pick up something for the project either. Couldn't really afford the parking ticket I was bound to get if i'd left the car on that single yellow line any longer. Managed to park round the corner from where my mum works, dash out with arms full of presents, deposit said presents at her place of work, gather return presents and dash back to car again, just in time to see a trtaffic warden turn round the corner. Somebody was smiling down on me there. Unfortunately he looked in another direction as I tried to navigate my way back out of Glasgow, and ended me up in lots of very slow moving traffic Bah, scumbag!
Still, nearly all done now. In case i don't speak to either of you before the event, have a merry one, and DD, give FC a big hug from me.
EV, any news from Helena? Today would have been rubbish anyway.

*realisation suddenly dawns* We were supposed to be meeting in Glasgow yesterday, weren't we? Oh. Oops. Sorry, things have gone a bit mental here too. *bangs head on desk three times* Helena is around, apparently, but proving very difficult to get hold of (as it were).

Nil Desporandum. Like I said, I hadn't got in touch as I wasn't really sure what you were doing. As it turns out, I wouldn't have had much time anyway, so no problems there. Didn't even get time to pick up some info I had told Lyns about, and thought might be interesting to see. Oh well, just need to get it another time.
Tried to coax my cousin into helping me but she is going away for new year and won't be back until the 7th Would have been good to get a native's point of view.
Have a good time over the next few days, and I'll be in touch around the middle of next week.

*thinking I already feel like a fat bloater this week, and it's still 3 and a bit days to christmas day itself! Out tonight, out tomorrow, then the mince pies kick in, while visiting friends on Sunday. Thank goodness i haven't had much turkey yet!

back onto nightshift on 27th until Hogmanay, so plenty of time to catch up then. Should be a quiet week, hopefully.
