Fact
The BBC's Ms Sloman issued a memo stating: "Under no circumstances should the allegation about the private life of Peter Mandelson be repeated or referred to on any broadcast."
The BOG

Result
This policy led to Mandelson's sexuality receiving more publicity than it would have otherwise - another triumph for censorship.
History is currently repeating itself.

Talking to yourself again, Wumbe?
The BOG
Wumbeevil Posted Mar 28, 2001
Just hangin' out (the Beebs dirty linen) and havin' fun.
I've stopped talking to myself, I could never get a sensible answer.

'Ere Wumbe, is the Wummenbeevil aware that you're having an affair with Awaiting Moderation?

Shhhh, Wummenbeevil's still in the old house, and while the cat's away, the mice set up their computer in the kitchen cupboard.
I'm sitting here awaiting multiple moderations.

I always suspected that the moderation system had something to do with sheep.
So you're a two house family now? Get you!
The BOG
Wumbeevil Posted Mar 28, 2001
Sheep in moderation is not a good thing.
Yep we're a two house and one bike family. She's got temporary custody of the goldfish, the yucca and the microwave, and I got pot noodles and a shower that doesn't work..
For my hols I'm going to my timeshare apartment on the Costa Clyde (and I truly thank the God of typos for sparing me on that sentence).

If I may make so bold as to suggest to those feeling a bit Bogged down here in the mire of Bogdom and the Duldrums of DumDum, a brief recess to explore a completely different something other for a few moments (if only to stretch the muscles of the lower ..anatomy). This conversation: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F16034?thread=100629 was 'going great guns', as they say, for about 19 entries and then I BOGGed them. Reality is still the best source of authourity. In moderation of course.

Scooby Doo Movie - OH THE HORROR!!!
Late comer to the Party.... but a BOG nontheless (I Hope...(I think))
Can't find the Bar - so I thought I'd try the BOG instead.....
Peter Mandelson is GAY????? Well I never,
A friend (who also happens to be gay ('cept he never admitted it ... yet) and something fairly high in young New Labour(?), and also a member of the Young Conservatives!!) once told me that half of the top Politicians are gay - inc.: William Hague, Michael Portillo, Mandy, and some others who I forget for the moment.
Another rumour goes that Andy split from Fergie 'cos he is gay and was dieing(sp?) from HIV - I think this one can be discounted now - 'cos he's not dead and doesn't appear to be dying - Unless the conspiracy theorists are right and THe Royal Family have been replaced with Simulacrums (as in Terror Firma....)

Much to my surprise, confusion and dismay, I have become Researcher U-162344 again... On my homepage and in any threads I posted to recently.
As I type this I am still [email protected] here in the Bog but I am wondering what will happen when I post here.
I understood that e-mail addresses were cautioned but not verbotten.
If I throw caution to the wind, is that not my business?
Sincerely hoping this is a technical glitch and not moderation,
I remain,
your 'umble and obese sauvant,
