Anyone who travels halfway around the globe and winds up 200 miles from me....its' GOTTA' happen!!!!
This is the part of the world most travelers tend to avoid. Might have something to do with the "My mother married her brother and me and mine plan to carry on the family tradition" rumour. 'Course....looking at a few folks from a couple of miles north of here...it may not be a rumour!
Anyone here ever see the movie "Deliverance"?!LOL

Poor NM, we just need a few more million peeps who spell correctly before you all (not y'all) learn to spell correctly.

Yes, we do have our ideas about american beer here in Holland... . Why don't you try a "Hertog-Jan Dubbele Kersenbier", must have one for you here... Ah yes, there you go...
Prepare/brace yourself for the first sip and yes; it's supposed to taste like cherries.

Oh no...no, no, no.....can't do that!
Thanks, anyway....but no self respecting "Southern US Redneck" would be caught dead drinking cherry flavoured beer!(hhmmm...or spelling flavoured with a "u", for that matter!)
I think I'll stick to my weak kneed, nasty tastin', Natural. Wouldn't want folks around here to suspect I was anything higher than Neanderthal...it might intimidate them!!!LOL

You're one of may favourite neanderthals NM. Even favourite without a 'u'.
TowelMaster, may I say it's great to see you too. A VERY long time between drinks, as it were.
Gosh... all the gang's back together. We'll be hearing from Fenchurch next. LOL

Hey NM; In Holland it's the Neanderthal-people who drink most of the flavoured beer . It's logical, after all; the Neanderthal(thal= valley) is in Europe. But o.k. you're right; let's just stick to 'normal beer'... Like Hoegaarden, Kriek Lambiek, Jupiler and all the other Belgian Gargleblasters...
Oh hi Wowbagger, glad you could make it... Actually I just popped in for a quick drink... or two... or three....
I wonder if there is an 'H2G2 Veterans Club'...
I wonder if the DJ there has his Jimi Hendrix-collection with him...
I wonder how many of the First-Ones we're still missing in action...
Hmmmm...tricky...

A h2g2 veterans club... hmm... I'dea
Now a word of warning to my Yankie friends (you're all yanks, get over it, you southerners lost the war and have been assimilated), Aussie beer is WAY better than Fosters (Australian for cr** beer). In fact the only reason Fosters is an called an imported beer, is because what you get is brewed in Canada.
You want a real beer, drink Garibaldi Beer (sorry, shameless plug)

I just 'finished' my entry on G'Kar as part of my Babylon-5 university-project. Please feel free to give me your initial opinion on the writingstyle etcetera. obviously it will not go into Peer-review,. and I figured that there must be some Babylon-5-fans among the veterans here...

Hmmm... B5... Can't wait until Sea2 is out on DVD. Waiting to The Coming of Shadows on DVD - that would be so cool. :D Actually the whole season on DVD will be cool. I watch S1 on DVD in just a few days. Now that a certain TV station no longer airs the reruns, I am getting withrawal symptoms again.
Oh... hang on, I better go review this G'Kar post.
