Reality Manipulator Posted Jun 19, 2015
It is was awful news where I live as the sitting conservative MP got in Jackie Doyle-Price. She has not got a good reputation as she ignores requests email petitions and letters sent to her from constituents as she says never signs back bench papers (I am not sure the term it is when a MP wants to raise an issue in parliament or get a new law mended or bring in a new law) if Mr Cameron is against it. That is why I rarely send any email petitions and letters to her as it is a waste of time. I am member of BATIAS a disabled self advocacy group and we invited her to come a long with other candidates before the election to explain to a group of disabled BATIAS members her policies and to answer the groups questions but she never even responded to the letter. The only who came to the meeting was the Labour candidate Polly Billington. When I heard that the conservatives won, I was completely devastated with the news. The British media have a lot to answer for as I think a lot of people still believe everything they read in the newspapers and what is said on the TV/Radio without questioning it which is very sad.

Aaah, the public!
Still haven't learned the lesson of the Dr. Joeeph Goebbels era and perhaps never will.
Your popular media is only as good as the people who run it.
Old Chinese aphorism: "If everyone in the whole world were to pull in the same direction, the world would fall over."
There are people young, naive and just plain stupid enough to thino that may be a desirable outcome.

If there's more than one newspaper in an area, and one outsells the other(s), isn't that a sign that the public approved what it printed? A public that passively accepts what it reads doesn't square with the notion of some people preferring one paper over the others. Rather, they actively *chose* what they wanted.

Make a deal with her you wont do it when you are out with her if you can do it at home without comment.
But better still catch her in the echo chamber and record a sample on your mobile and press play upon criticism
Makes a belting ring tone

Used to have a mate who could create a fine drizzle by blowing water through his teeth.
Favorite laugh in bed do trick as above current wench ducks beneath the duvet, a mighty fart (prepared well in advance) was then let loose shrieks of mirth from all but the victim.

The "head under the duvet" technique is known as a "Dutch Oven", at least colloquially here in teh States.

That has always been true. The only ones who can be trusted are thee and me, and sometimes I wonder about thee.

My mother once said, "Salt is the spice of life."
I think an adage and old wives tale collided in her mind when she said it.

It might sound like a tromboon, an unsuccessful instrument that PDQ Bach wrote music for. It has all the disadvantages of the trombone and bassoon, and none of the advantages.
