stomach upset etc now gone from symptoms I'd put it down to a stomach bug. Under-cooked food I'm not sure ? but glad it's cleared

it's neither afternoon nor evening here. It's morning. The window is just tot he left of my computer, and the moring sun is strong now, s storng that the glare form the light interferes with my reaidng the monitor. I blame htis for ther typos that I make but don'tnotice.

That's indeed quite bright, Paul. I hope that you won't damage your eyesight with that much glare. Maybe you could get some prescription to help??

All is much the same here, out all day, warm climate, etc. I find it boring, but Nature doesn't seem to care about my opinion on the matter.

I do have prescription sunglasses, but they are form an earlier prescription that doesn't work too well now. Do I want to spend money for sunglass versions of each prescription? I don't know....

I can see your point, Paul. That could be a big expense, especially in a time zone that has an actual variance in seasonal sunlight.

It's likely to go down to 18 degrees Fahrenheit tonight. I think everything will be finished for the season. I've been admiring the tea roses for continuing to bloom with abandon into early November. They will probably have brown, lifeless leaves tomorrow as well.

Well, some forecasters are saying that it will be worse than usual, while others are saying it will be milder than usual. If you take the average of their forecasts, you get: average. I can live with that.

I've always said that since technology got to satelite level, weather forecasters can't get 2 days right in a rowcome back the local farmers who got it right 90% most of the time
