Of course! The Peer Review tracking system!
(It's going very well, isn't it? I thought it might I mean, there's lots of people clearly very interested).
The island one? I was only in at the end myself - felt a bit cheeky just blurting out the names of islands.

Too busy? That'll be people wandering round starting 'Why Is h2g2 So Quiet?' threads and getting the populace all riled up and posting like mad then

I'd had that thought too
I'm off for a snooze before I get sucked into any more threads. I did figure out why Gosho feels it's not quiet though - it's because he writes so many journal entries (and has lots of discussion there).

He does indeed
I've seen quite a few people over the last few months talking about how researchers spend a lot more time in their and their friends' journals these days.
Not sure that's a terribly healthy thing in some ways - further fragmentation.
Enjoy the snooze ... Lou Reed turned up yet?

I just had a look at who's online (12.30pm your time) and there are ALOT of hootooers there I recognise. But Ask and my convo list are pretty dead, so I don't know where everyone is (that'll be a good stalking project for when I've got too much time on my hands)
Snooze was good. Was I expecting Lou?

Trin Tragula Posted May 14, 2006
'Expect', probably not ... he just turns up, you know?
Well, I've just got back on and it's *really* quiet in here
It is Sunday, I suppose, but there's not even anything stirring in PR, let alone the forums.

I'm having a major attack of procrastination. We've just had the first blast of winter here overnight
Poached eggs for brekkie though

Excellent winter fayre It's got a bit chillier here now - thankfully.
I'm watching Braveheart. It's awful. I keep meaning to turn it off, but it's just *so* rubbish

Oh I don't know - an Australian making an idiot of himself on behalf of the Americans, could be quite entertaining? Also near the end you can play pick the British actors (you know, the ones with actual Scottish accents) in the battle scenes
Have you ever seen Madmax? Someone mentioned it to me the other day and I got all nostalgic. I bet I'd think it totally idiotic (there's that word again) now.

Trin Tragula Posted May 14, 2006
If Gibson had made Madmax I and II and then stopped, he would be remembered as a great cult actor
The accents are ghastly
I mean, it is a fantastic action film, but the dumb history All the scots are noble and decent, the Irishman's a lovable loony, the French ladies are sneaky but basically good at heart and the English are all gits.

I'm trying to think of any other Scottish historical films now... Rob Roy of course... but not much else springs to mind (although that's as much to do with my v e r y s l o w brain this morning as anything)
Contemporary film...Morvern Kellar (sp?) I saw recently and really enjoyed. Is that an important Scottish story in the UK? (I'd not heard of it).

You still up? Is it safe to say your re-immersion in hootoo is now complete?
Only for a further period of cold turkey
And who's going to look after the kakapos?
Kakapoi? Kakapuses?
(I'm kidding - but I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't well on its way down the editorial pipeline by the time you get back).

Actually I had a couple of hours sleep and then I woke and remembered I'd left the front door open
I have to be in bed by 4pm though! (that leaves me 4... er 2 minutes )
Shouldn't you be at work or something
Kakapuses
