Evolutionary Theism
See U239415 for an explanation of my inactivity.
Evolutionary Theism is a form of theism that differs from most theism by its assumptions about God.
Theists are people who believe in what is called a Triple-O God. This God is believed to be:
- Omnipotent
- Omniscient
- Omnipresent
Evolutionary Theists believe in the Triple-O God, but do not consider it to be benevolent (or malevoent) towards humanity. Rather, they believe that this God is cultivating humanity towards some purpose of its own. It created the universe and may interfere at times. It probably had to interfere to start life and to cause intelligence. This does not mean that it wanted to create humanity. We are merely one step on the path to its goal, whatever that is.
