Now can someone please tell me what is going on? There were about four moderated posts in the the first page for bob's sake. Last time I saw anyone do that it was me. And I was trying to explain something deppely libellous that had been put on wikipedia.

Anyway- I want to know what is going on and where Bel is or I will get very bored/cross.

Um... was anybody taking me seriously? I'd hate to think they were. I am almost only ever serious when talking about things too trivial for normal people to care about. Like raddishes and such.

I would have to study most - maybe even all - of the backlog to tell you what we were on about, but I'm not sure it would make any of us any wiser

Yes, I am taking your questions seriously, although I regret I have no clear answers. As Pierce said, this thread might appear to be somewhat obscure.

I responded because Bel was upset, so I got upset, because she's a friend and has been there for me a lot on this site over the years. I wrote a spontaneous appreciation of her,which was a good thing for me to do.

There is clearly some kind of upset going on, but as to the ins and outs and complexities of the situation, well, I couldn't say .....

I do tend to lurk in the margins, so, in a vast community like this, I don't have much knowledge about all the ins and outs, how it is run, who is who and everything.

It's not really my place, in fact, to get involved, and I don't want to stir or take sides.

But hey, we're all human, and sometimes feelings run high, and I hope it all works out for everyone I really do. I'm not suggesting some kind of icky happy ending or anything, but a resolution or something would be good.

I am also feeling rather ancient these days, tend to need a snooze and hot chocolate, put my feet up in mid fray, , so I am going for a lie down now , but I mean it when I say that I hope it works out for everyone.

Sorry I can't answer your questions clearer than that, but I responded to show that I am taking you seriously, beyond radishes. Although I like radishes. mmm Must buy some.

Thanks guys. Read the backlog, but too much was deleted and as usual I suspect much of what this is all about has occured elsewhere. I've seen enough of these sorts of threads to just want to know what's going on. I'm not taking sides, I couldn't give a toss about factions or castigating anyone (apart from 2legs, and only because he begs) I would just like it is someone could tell me what Bel is so upset about.
