How, öhm, cultural...
I agree with Wader. If the beer doesn't taste good, you know the wrong people in the pub...

Nothing's wrong exactly, Jabs. Like lil said, I've been at this point (or close to it) many times before, and I've now made a decision.

Good If you're just fed up or bored with it, join the club. I'm glad if there's nothing else really wrong, although as to the matter of interest there's lots of stuff you could do about Germany that would interest me, for one. I think you're bored though, and that's, and I hope it's nothing more than that.

B'El, I look forward to your as always and wish you well, and I hope you will accept this quote in the way intended, rather than as a quote. Please!!!
"To those waiting with bated breath for that favourite media catchphrase, the U-turn, I have only one thing to say: You turn if you want to. The lady's not for turning!" - M Thatcher.
I really, desperately hop that is not classed as bad taste...
Although it probably will be! It was meant as a bit of levity!!!
*Goes to look for a 45 Magnum to it all but just finds a ice cream! *
With apologies!

I looked that up because it was so out of context to me:

Can't see what could possibly be wrong with it.

I don't quite understand it, other than as a play on words.
There's a play called 'The Lady's Not for Burning'. By Christopher Fry.

I liked your entry about the applewine. If I could remember what to call it, I'd tell another one. It had to do with food also. You see where my mind stays!
(So, if you think your entries aren't interesting, maybe the Brittish don't like food? I've heard rumors...)
Just kidding.
About the Brits, not about the entries I liked.

Thank you, hstwrd.
The applewine express and the green sauce entry (I guess you are referring to those) were the first two entries I wrote.
It was green sauce day here on Maundy Thursday.

See! People do take notice of the work you have done.
They wouldn't do that if it was dry and uninteresting

We had green sauce with more than the usual number of herbs, I suspect - my mother sneaks Ground Elder (Giersch) into everything

The green sauce entry is one of my all-time favorites. I still haven't tried it yet, because I couldn't find sorrel for the longest time! I definitely have to make some this spring...

pc, just take a herb that's available. Our green sauce consists mainly of sorrel and parsley, because they are so easily available and cheap (although they sell them at a high price - I paid € 3,50 for a packet this week), but you can take another herb instead.
