A new camera? Perhaps this website might be somewhat inspirational(it certainly is wonderful to look at). It's http://www.BrucePercy.com and I found it on an open source TV & video player called miro( http://www.getmiro.com - hundreds of 'channels', including travel shows... I took a virtual cycle tour though a section of London - http://www.londonlandscape.tv ).

I'll need time to have a good look. I just clicked on the second link. Can you upload videos to that site, too?

i've only been fiddling around with it for a few minutes, but it seems like once your video is on your computer you can indeed use miro for watching it, bel

A friend gave me a digital camera some time ago. Tried to view the 200 pics on my computer for the first time last summer, and after an hour of spinning cursor, the camera became a stranger to it's own memory card. Fortunately, the folks as the camera shop were able to save the pic's onto a CD (about 100 I really didn't want, plus some irreplacables, like mom's 62nd class reunion!). But now I'm afraid to hook it to the computer again.
My computer has it's own built in camera, which works fine , but is limited to it's location in the attic library. Not an interesting landscape.
So I'll just have to enjoy the ones you all take.

*waves to hstwrd*Hey stranger!
Hmm, I'm not familiar with VLC but I'd imagine they're much the same. So if you have one you may not really need the other. I'll Google VLC...yes it does sound similar.
